Need help setting up your email on iOS? Follow the steps below for easy configuration or contact us for personalized assistance.
Email Setup: iOS (iPhone/iPad)
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Scroll down and tap Mail, then select Accounts.
- Tap Add Account and select Other.
- Tap Add Mail Account and fill in the following details:
- Name: Your name as you’d like it displayed.
- Email: Your full email address (e.g., user@yourdomain.com).
- Password: Your email account password.
- Description: A name to identify this account (e.g., “CyberDevs Email”).
- Tap Next and enter the following server settings:
- Incoming Mail Server:
- Hostname:
host.cyberdevs.co.za
- Username: Your full email address (e.g., user@yourdomain.com).
- Password: Your email account password.
- Hostname:
- Outgoing Mail Server:
- Hostname:
host.cyberdevs.co.za
- Username: Your full email address (e.g., user@yourdomain.com).
- Password: Your email account password.
- Hostname:
- Incoming Mail Server:
- Tap Next. Your iPhone/iPad will verify the settings.
- If the verification succeeds, tap Save. Your email account is now set up and ready to use.
- If prompted for port numbers, use the following:
- Incoming Port: 993 (IMAP with SSL/TLS).
- Outgoing Port: 587 (SMTP with Auto/STARTTLS).
