Need help setting up your email in Microsoft Outlook? Follow the steps below for a seamless configuration or reach out directly for assistance.

Email Setup: Microsoft Outlook

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook and go to File > Add Account.
  2. Select Manual setup or additional server types and click Next.
  3. Choose POP or IMAP and click Next.
  4. Fill in the following details:
    • Your Name: Enter your name.
    • Email Address: Enter your full email address (e.g., user@yourdomain.com).
    • Account Type: Select IMAP.
    • Incoming Mail Server: host.cyberdevs.co.za
    • Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): host.cyberdevs.co.za
    • Username: Enter your full email address.
    • Password: Enter your email account password.
  5. Click More Settings and navigate to the Outgoing Server tab:
    • Check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
    • Select Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
  6. Under the Advanced tab, configure the following:
    • Incoming Server (IMAP): 993 and encryption type: SSL/TLS.
    • Outgoing Server (SMTP): 587 and encryption type: STARTTLS.
  7. Click OK, then Next, and finally Finish to complete the setup.
